Video animation Atsuro Furuyama Sometimes the creation of a new form is initiated by the collision of existing ones. Active, still-life compositions were created using pieces of textile, stone and glass. This joining of unique materials produced a variety of beautiful, and sometimes violent, interactions. As these elements were torn, shattered or enveloped the process was documented with still and video cameras.
